just use it and judge for yourself folks, too much thought being put into various potential/actual testing/comparos....

I'm using it (ex etrac/ctx user) and it's very, very good irregardless of the low-cost/light-weight advantage.....

The 600 is the absolute detector deal of this century, imho, lol, all kidding aside....

heck, Tom (CA) was able to simply give one a (quick, and I do mean quick) try and make big $$$ chucking it, lol

you're a funny guy, woodchip....interesting agenda you have....you make a blanket statement "It does not miss a thing" and coming from you that has substantial 'weight', yet you chuck it and move on to 'drumroll', GoFind 44, lol

I'm simply enjoying the 800 and will be for some time....

Until I get some way to really hunt with it in the water I honestly cant say. Beaches can really very. Tom may have moved on to another machine to test. Id sure enjoy some of his opinions on the various settings and what to expect.

Tom really took the impact for a test and really found it to be a real good machine I think he put it right up there with the F75 and he doesn't really take the time he took with the impact with too many other machines.

I'm a real riot. My opinion holds no weight. Only my shoes. Maybe the Go Find will be the first VLF to work perfectly here in Central Virginia. Will trump the GPX. It sure is a lot lighter for us Senior Citizens. Woe is me. I'm glad your happy with your choice. Let me know when you need some duct tape. lol.

Tom said he has not had a production run Equinox to play with; just the prepro, and he's reluctant to speak about a model he has not used, as some things might have changed from what he saw during testing.

That would be correct, Tom is on lock down.... for now.
I'm sure when that is over he will be rambling on about it and I can't wait.

Tom's own post in another thread stated his release from mine lab but also stated his restriction, now if that is from mine lab or from testing another companies machine I have no clue. Just stating what he has previously said
