Well-----He said several times that it was lightweight but never did state the weight of the detector.-----Just how much does it weigh???

Reviews sort of always favor a machine. They left out the all metal that the impact has (the gen mode). To me that is what made the impact and still does one of the best programs on
that machine. So for me I will keep the impact and add the deus with the new X35 coil. That combo will cover all of my hunting needs.

It says it has got all metal mode in the above article

Not the same from what I read but most people have not discovered how the impacts gen mode works

Well... Go ahead and enlighten us.

I don't believe that anyone was thinking it would not be a quality detector. The company released it loaded with features that were asked for. Hard to criticize that. Some users out there will buy this because the timing is right for them to upgrade. Some will buy it because the thought of a new detector escaping their clutches drives them mad. The question that many of us had is this a major improvement over the Impact or Kruzer? The company actually answered that for the most part in another thread.
