What do you guys think about this?

I made a new intro trying to hone my video skills. It is 1 minute long. What do you guys think about it?New intro

I like it with that music , your exceptional finds and effects but it is going to be to long of an intro before getting to the meat of things.

Yeah I just put it up on my channel as a intro to it and not in my videos...

I'm thinking you're missing some Nevada Territory Saloon Tokens, an Oregon or California gold coin, a baggage tag or padlock from the Old railroad and a Phoenix button. Maybe a cache of Seated dollars. Other than those, it looked right nice.

It's a nice intro.

Intros are good for first timers to your channel but after watching it one or two times, I doubt anyone will have the urge to watch it again.

The problem I have with many YouTube Channel intros is that they automatically start playing every time I visit the page. That can be a little annoying because I always have to turn the intro off each time. Can you to make it so that the intro doesn't come on when we open the page?

I wouldn't mind watching it each time if it were only five or ten seconds long, but one minute is a long time to wait just to watch one of your videos so invariably, it must be manually turned off each time.

Very nice intro, Seeing it once or twice would be fine, but a minute each time one views your videos is a little long in my opinion. Very nice job, though. HH jim tn

Jim it is not for the videos, It is a introduction to my channel for the new person. I could just set it where first time visitors will see it? Do you guys think that would be better?

Overall good.
I would get rid of the breaking news thingy. Color wise don’t mesh.
Folks watching your channel I would think would be curious to which detectors you use. So why not show them with some ID name on the screen shots.
You could say they are your current detectors or something.
Folks do link detector models to finds.

Last and I consider most important. Where are you??? The person is most important. Without you operating detectors no finds made period you show in video.

So need to see you first up. And show where you predominantly detect region or state wise.
Then equip
Then finds.
You could group some of the finds in screen shots. Maybe not the higher quality.

Think that will do,

A little mini story of sorts for a WHOLE Calabash intro.

I normally use adobe premiere pro but that was done with the app that came on my computer.

Yeah you could show yourself and equipment in same shot to save time.
Try to keep time down.
1 minute Max.
You have the skills to do, I am sure of this.

Figure out what map to show or region you detect.
On the treasure magazine. If your finds are indeed discussed which pages??
Like show edition and page, maybe even copy of exact page- blow up maybe.
Good idea to state either how long or when you started detecting and with which model.
Why?
Some folks may be thinking they can either become super proficient in short order or maybe thinking it takes years and years (decades) to become successful.

You willl tinker around and I’ll bet you come up with super intro product vid.

Producing informative and entertaining videos is an art. No matter what, there will always be a diffrence of opinion regarding content or video skills. Appretiate the time you producers take. What brand and model camera do you all recommend?? Thanks

OK, saw it.. nice, but for me once is enough.. Is much better than those videos with the hard rock, heavy metal intros.

I see it's more of a channel description than an intro. This is fine. When I watch videos and there's an intro especially more than 5 seconds I move on. I have people giving me crap about explaining too much on my videos! I try to cater to newbies and pro's alike. I also will not watch a video if they don't show live digs. Here is what I hate - "Oh baby this big silver was a super sweet tone! Numbers hit high and pinpointed tight. I thought you all should see it! " Then they show some coin on top of a pile of dirt! I would rather not even see the coin but rather why you dug it. This is how I shoot all my videos.

I like past ziggy field videos because I can hear the tone BEFORE he digs....sometimes he passes on a signal because the tone breaks up. I want to hear it all. Dig some trash I want to see it. Some things can make a video distracting from the Topic......background music and annoying repetitious sayings.

Hey now, sometimes those annoying repetitious sayings and comments are just overlooked by the person. Some may not even realize they are saying them. I have a couple that my wife pointed out to me. I start nearly every video clip with either "hey ya'll..." or "alright ya'll". When I tried to break myself from it, it just seemed weird.

Make the intro quicker , 10 sec 15sec max . People will skip it so that why it should be quick.
