Bluetooth 5.0 transmitters.
January 13, 2020 10:51PM
I was wondering if someone has a 5.0 bluetooth transmitter that they've paired with the Nox to see if it is actually APTX LL or not. I have 3 models of the Taotronics TT-Ba07, 08 and 09, none give the + sign when paired to the machine. I'm not trying to use it with the Nox, but another machine. My Q-12 earbuds when paired have the + sign. I need a transmitter to use with the Q-12's for minimum lag on a Tarsacci I have coming. Any input or suggestions would be bigly appreciated.

Why would you pair a transmitter with the Nox? The Nox is equipped with its own transmitter.

I use the Trond V5.0 transmitter with my Tarsacci.

Maybe I don't know much about it. I've never tried using a transmitter with the Nox.

I corrected my post. The Trond transmitter is a 5.0. It works fantastic on the Tarsacci.

My earbuds, which are a receiver and the Taotronics are receivers as well as transmitters. When in receive mode and paired, they do not give the + symbol which means an APTX low latency devise is paired with it. I'm trying not to waste my time or money on another Bluetooth devise if it's not going to reduce as much lag as possible. I'm assuming you have a set of Minelab headphones paired to the Tronds?

Thanks for the explanation. I didn't know that could be done.

I'm using the Trond V4.2 headphones.

I have a Nox and will pair with 3 of my low latency headphone and I get the '+'. Trond Bluetooth devices will transmit and receive, BUT most of them will only be 'low latency' in the 'transmit' mode only, NOT in the receiving mode. The Nox is transmitting in low latency and you will only the '+' sign IF the receiving Bluetooth device is also low latency. I have set that I use with my earplugs and Deus backphones.

Ok, Badger, thank you for the info on the phones.

Ok, that would explain why it's not giving me the symbol. As long as it's transmitting LL APTX, I'm good to go. Thank you.

I was just a little bit confused after the OP.. now it's a full blown case of discombobulation.

Carry on, I'll catch up.
