when did mugging become jugging ?

in US speak i read that in houston theres a lot of juggings ..well if guys walk out of the bank counting their money they will be jugged!

i could understand it if juggings were bad in albuquerque as its a hell hole of drug gangs but surprised houston is bad for juggins so what happened?it always seemed afluent
are there any tectorists in albuquerque ?
