Nice 3-Cent Nickel. This type of coin was high volume mintage...…. and were lost in about as much quantity as Indian Head pennies.
On a EQX..... the 3-Cent Nickel ID's as a '7' or '8'.

Similar size silver's this side of 'the pond' too!

"Three pence" coins and what were called "Three Halfpence", even smaller again!

"Maundy Set", as well comprise of 4d, 3d, 2d and a 1"

Have only ever had the "3d", either Victorian 1837-1901, or Edward VII 1901-10, and George V 1910-36

Very small coins but good 'conductive targets' if found in plowed farmland. Typically, "several" per annum (if I'm lucky)
(huge mintage numbers millions of most and lost anywhere and everywhere the British 'colonised')
