Mars 7 inch dd coil.

Hi Guys,
Has any member used the Mars 7 inch dd coil on there v3i mxt Trying to get some feed back on its capabalities. Regards from Down Under.

I purchased the 7 inch DD for my impact and it was/is a fairly decent coil, also used one on an F75 and again, decent coil. EXCEPT !!!!!
The coil ears can and are britle. I have had both coils break off the mounting ears and I had to JB Weld material on the outside and rebuild the ears to continue using them

When mounting Mars coils, try using a single rubber washer on one coil ear instead of one on each side.

Fits better and less stress on the ears.
