Calabash, check the following on Deus 2 leaving detector in multi freq ....

Zero out volume totally on deus 2.
Leave detector in multi frequency and change programs.
Take remote off stem.
And get coil close to your ear.
When you switch programs do you hear relay switching in coil?
Also after you do this.
Go to mono and change freqs. And listen again to coil for relay action.

Doing the above may tell us more about deus 2.

Is freq being changed with program changes ? Perhaps. I don't know though. I have a gut feeling they are.
