Manticore, to tweak or not…

For you Manticore users I’m asking for a friend. Out of the box with no tweaking, will it out perform the Nox 800? He doesn’t like to tweak much. I know ground conditions and Emi are a factor. Are there recommended tweaks necessary to get the edge? I’ve read through a lot of the responses to Toms post and it’s a lot to absorb. Thanks. I use a Nox 600, MultiKruzer and a few Fishers. After 40 plus years Ive slowed down quite a bit and don’t get out like I used to. It’s good to stay informed and this is the place for it!!

Certainly will, in a park or yard, with literally no tweaking of anything. Beach, with magnetic black sand is another story.

For us, the Manticore clearly beats the Equinox out of the box. It contains EMI far better.

Also on moderate black sand we found the performance to equal if not exceed the Equinox.
