True All Metal in SMF Detector

Do any of the simultaneous multi frequency detectors have a true All Metal Motion mode? Is the Pin Point mode true All Metal Non Motion? Does it actually use the SMF wave form?

Chris........ whilst in Audio Theme = Prospecting .....(in any of the Modes on Manticore)....... this is a threshold-based all-metal Mode (with adjustable threshold)......... is about as close as you can get to a SMF true all-metal (based) Mode. It is very close to being locked in pinpoint Mode; yet, with the added feature of the audio threshold pitch 'dipping' when you pass over ferrous.............................. and audio threshold pitch 'rising' when you pass over a non-ferrous implement. Yes...... you can also (easily) "size" the object/target whilst in Prospecting audio.

Good to know. So Prospecting audio is a special/different type of audio but not really a different search mode? Is the Manticore the only SMF detector to utilize an approximate or true All Metal mode? What about Pin point on say the Legend or Vanquish Or Equinox? On the Manticore?

Chris........ the 'dp' (Delta Pitch) of the EQX-900 is akin to the Prospecting audio of Manticore. The only difference is........the audio for iron is 'processed'......but the audio for non-ferrous targets is live-feed/raw.

Among the new multi-frequency detectors that work in Allmetall or Mix mode are Rutus Atrex and Aka Intronik detectors...

Does the same hold true for the Equinox 800?
Park 1 or any mode, open discrimination, (horse shoe), no notching.
Increase threshold until audible.

Mark...... you may be referring to Prospecting Mode-1 & 2

So the prospecting modes are the only true all metal modes on the Equinox 800!
Will be trying it hunting dry sand.

Start with a lower Sens setting. Say 18. As you get use to it........ raise the Sens.
Remember....... The Prospecting Modes are HYPER-SENSITIVE!!!
