Tom D......Omega question clarification.....

In a 2 yr old post "Interesting Tek Omega performance results" you made the following statement regarding the Omega:

"Fairly heavy EMI mitigated by sweeping coil in concert w/freq change "

Can you clarify what that statement means. Does it mean adjusting the Omega's frequency, while sweeping the coil???????

No............it means to find the best EMI frequency.............then start sweeping the coil on the ground. A lot of EMI becomes (unaudible) whilst sweeping ground. The unit appears to be more stable. This is true with any detector.
