Wondering why Minelab never made an 8" coil for the the nox like they did with the manticore?

I spoke with a Minelab rep at a treasure show last year about coils for the Equinox. Her statement to me was "Minelab is not in the business of making coils, but Detectors"

It's the marketing 'numbers'. There is/was a fair amount larger request for a 6" coil......over a 8" coil.
