hi this forum was recommended to me I awaiting collection of my new metal detector its a fisher 1260x doing searches Ive found very little about it I hope you guys can help with tips and also control settings it has a small knob on with tuning wrote under it I can't for the life of me find out what this is for.

reading though the site so far it seems a very well informed place.

This is the Threshold control. Adjust to the right for a slight sound or to the left to back it down.

thanks i couldent find much about it some even claimed it didnt have a theshold but i was certain it did thanks
