F70 EMI adjustments

Which is better? adjusting the/threshold setting or the sensitivity to eliminate EMI when the Hertz control will not eliminate the EMI and still retain the adequate depth. This is when using disc of 17. In 70 phase reading when ground balancing and 0 to 1 bar magnetic readings.

Had one when they first came out and well nature of the beast comes to mind along with the proverbial 1266 with its snap-crackle and pop as if I was after depth the EMI came along for the ride. Many do well with the F series whether it be the operator, your neck of the woods or some just adjust themselves to some EMI as a tradeoff.
Might google around and find a F series forum as again many do well with these units and perhaps you can get some help from ardent users.

Start with Sens first. If you get down to a Sens setting of '60'..... and EMI is still rendering the detector nearly useless...... THEN try Thresh.
