How much effect will occur on depth if you set your Disc at 4 and 99 on sensitivity and your threshold on -2 or -3? It seems I can settle the EMI down very well with the Hz settings this way using my F70 with 4 tones.

What I like to do is run it hot at a site that's relatively free of trash and I am almost certain holds some deeper silver coins. Whenever you get a good hit that you think might be a deep coin, then start to play around all your settings. You will really learn a lot about how changing each component value affects what you hear or don't hear. It will really help you when you see how low you can run the different combinations of Thres and Sens and still pick up the deeper targets and it does wonders for your confidence at EMI plagued sites when you have to turn things down but now you know those settings will still work.
