Stunning.

.............and for those of whom can't see that well........... in the end, a coin is placed vertically/on-edge in a slit in the wood test-board....... between the nails.
Re: Deus recovery speed--F75 LTD does the same

Well I have done that test with the F75 LTD many months ago and it does the same, I have a paint stick with a dime on edge , which I cut the stick to put it in the stick--a slot-- with a 5 penny iron nail on both sides at an 1" from the dime. Both the 11" dd and the 5 dd hit it the same at an acceptable depth. Anyone can just lay a dime on edge in the ground and put your nails on both sides, 1" if you like and you will see for yourself...

But will the F75 still get a signal from the nails when the coin is in place?

Well depending on your coil swing fast or slow you will get the grunt and high tone very fast together in a fast swing, using a slow swing you can even get the nail to sound then as you move it very slow you will get a regular hit on the coin, if you have the coin on edge you will get the double blip high tones or flat you will get a solid tone as normal....Just go out and do it in your dirt, real world can't be beat for testing.

What is the setting of your reactivity I would think you used 4 or five and of course you lose depth and most of us don't need that setting I would say in most of our ground we would use a three and that is still very fast...

TAKE A LITTLE TIME KICKBACK AND WATCH SOME OF MY DETECTING VIDEO'S BELOW ON YouTube

You dont need more than 3 to achieve this kind of recovery speed.

Yes the recovery was set at 3.

Well, looks like I have done it again. My "show me" attitude has offended once again. That was not my intent but I wish to publicly apologize to Lil - John.

Hey Schultzie

Thanks , but no apology needed but I do appreciate it and it is partly my fault anyway. As I explained in my note that I wrote to you. Us old Nam Vets suffer from lots of things that make us go off, I should know better to think about that before I write something too quick. By the way check your email for I sent you another note tonight...

Best regards and thank you for your comeback.

LiL John
