CZ6 to A

I've decided to upgrade my cz6 to the five pin cz6a. Are there any downsides to doing this? Will my detector "lose" any depth?. I works fine now but I hope to in the future buy other coils for it hence the upgrade. Opinions please.

It has no effect on the detector, all you are doing is changing the coil connector and getting rid of the headphone pigtail, which has bin a source of a lot of problems in the past. It's a good move also because finding coils for the four pin can be difficult and with the five pin you can buy coils from any dealer or some of the online classifieds( did I spell that right). Good move.
