Second day out

Went back to an old state fair grounds that has been run to death over the years. The T2 did its job and found some clad and a Civil War era buckle. I also found 3 nails 8 inches deep that rang in the penny range. In the air the vid was 15. I wonder why such a difference in VIDs? Good hunting.

Depth, mineralization will do this. And not just to the T2. And iron presents several components for detection/ID...... and............ all it takes..... is for one of the components to drop out......... and the detector is more prone to ID'ing the iron target as a non-ferrous conductor.
