Hot Coinstrike Hunt !!

Unfortunately the finds weren't so hot, but I was able to run the C$ sensitivity at 8 (9 would just start to give off ground noise while in motion) which combined with a threshold of ZERO it ran smooth as could be with the 10.5" coil on it. Probably the hottest I've ever been able to run the C$ (with it being stable) but unfortunately it's drying up. While I didn't find any old coins this trip out, not even a wheatie, I did see it lock onto a a dime about 6" deep, with a rusted bottle bottle cap less then an inch away from the dime (above it). That's impressive although the C$ isn't known for it's awesome iron see through, but once in a while it surprises you.

The big coil can have a bit of a 'wrap-around' effect (sometimes).
