What are your thoughts on pulse detectors with a form of disc? I have been using my Goldscan 5C and it seems to be working pretty good.

The White's TDI is a Eric Foster GS-5......... except Eric's units are hand-built.... which are not to 'general production line' standards as White's must do. This is to say that a hand-built unit is most probably a bit 'tighter' with Spec's..... and with 'hand-picked' components. A Mfr company does not have the time to 'hand-pick' each component. The R.O.I. would not be cost-effective. I surmise the TDI is probably around 13uS pulse delay capable........ where as Eric's GS-5's are around 10uS capable. The White's units are a 'cut-above' the norm...... but just shy of Eric's perfectionism.
