Looks to me that when the G2 gives you a hint of iron you just slow down and listen to the tone and then speed up and listen to the tone. Yeah it will take a lot longer to hunt that way but no one says that detecting is easy and no detector is perfect. When I get better I will try that after not hunting for almost two years I have a lot of new ideas to try. The proof is in the pudding and untill a new machine comes out that can make us say wow again we have to just wrap our heads around masking and take time to find the hidden relics that may be laying next to iron and other masking targets...
