Spanish Gold Coins

Tom - When hunting for gold coins on the beach with a CZ-70, will you hear two tones when the coil goes over it bouncing back and forth since most gold is found under the 3rd and 4th icons per the manual?

The size of the gold coin dictates what it will ID; subsequently what it will audibly report. Tiny U.S. $1 gold coins ID as "foil" with a lower mid-tone on most detectors. Gold coins the size of a nickel (like the U.S. $5 Half-Eagles) will ID as mid-tone/pull-tab (except the CZ-3D in 'enhanced' mode will ID as hi-tone). Spanish gold coins usually fall into this range. -- Larger gold coins ($10 & $20) and large Spanish gold coins will ID with a high-tone.

---The nature of the game = No cut-n-dry answer as mass dictates ID in reference to gold coins.
