Disc 6 w/ 4 Tones

Tom,

In a few posts you have mentioned you hunt modern parks for coins with Disc 6 and 4 tones. Yet in other posts you mention that any tone setting above mono automatically puts the Disc @ 15. Why then do you not simply hunt at Disc 15 when using 4 tones?

Thanks!

Simplicity..... AND ..... there is a slightly better 'feel' for the volume of iron in the ground when Disc is on '6'.

Thanks Tom.

I just got my F75 and have really appreciated your posts on this forum. I also just ordered your DVD and am looking forward to watching it multiple times.

Cheers.

You're welcome. The knowledge on the DVD directly transfers into the F-75. To start cutting your teeth with the F-75, I recommend;
Sens = 70
Disc = 6
Tones = 4 or 4H
Mode = DE
..... and 'fast-grab' Gnd Bal

If you are exclusively/strictly ONLY a die-hard relic hunter...... immediately start cutting your teeth with;
Sens = 70
Disc = 6
Tones = 1
Mode = DE
...... and 'fast-grab' Gnd Bal
