T or D ?

I'm looking to get a woods shovel and cant decide on a T or D handle top. Anyone have strong feelings one way or another?

Personally I prefer the "T" handle. It's easier for me to grab when digging and much easier to hang off my belt.

I have both and slightly prefer the D handle over the T. Reason is ...I drag the shovel and the D is easier to hold. I also us that end to tamp the dirt in the hole and the plug, both work for that.

T is a better way to put downward pressure on the handle
