Slowly dieing......... if you mean at a peaking point and now we wont see 3 dozen people in the water, that works for me. Many of us noticed that this year. Not nearly as many hunters, but then we shall see what the snow birds bring. Its not helped that detectors are getting REAL pricy either and keeping up with new ones can be a challenge. I think we have gotten used to how fast electronics change and expect the same in our hobby. I dont know that that means its dieing as much as new machines arent making much of a difference. They are just getting repackaged with a few things that make us go ....... ooooooo. But..... this slow down has produced some good used detector buys.
