Cors Shrew Coils.

Anyone use this coil and if so, what do you think of it.

I spied these on eBay...... was wondering what's the skinny on them? They appear to be copies of other makers coils?

If they make a 5x10 DD non bouyant I would be interested..

They are NEL coils under a different name and agreement to try to undercut Ron at gold diggers distro of NEL.

I believe they do, they make a coil that looks exactly like a NEL Sharpshooter.

That's odd....and they seem to be priced right around the same price point as their NEL counterparts.

It is odd that NEL would do that but they are the same just distributed by serious detecting who is also distro for deteknix in US now as well. I would buy NEL and continue to support Ron personally.

I see you can get a Cors Shrew on eBay right now.
I just ordered a Nel Snake (same coil?) for my Vaquero and there is a 6 week back order.
I think I will wait for the Snake. I could be wrong but don't snakes eat shrews?
Why would you name a coil Shrew?

I have a NEL Snake coil for my F75, but have not used it yet.

I have a big detecting trip planned for next month, I'll be taking the F75 LTD2 and the Racer, but I'll probably focus on using the Racer 95% of the time, as I've already had the F75 there several times, although the last trip there with the Jan/2014 LTD2 it did exceptionally well...tough choice!

Cors Shrew makes a 3.5 x 6.5 DD coil for the Eldorado UMax and so far I have yet seen any other maker for this size coil...I have a good place to search where this type of coil would be perfect...If anyone know's of such coil else where, let me know...

Same as NEL snake. Yes it is epoxy filled.
