Another GBSE first

Picked up a 1898 Barber dime stuck up agaist a old stone wall. Who said a 19khz wont get deep coins. 6" My brother using my Landstar and first hunt got a 1911 V nickel and 1888 Indian head cent on other side of wall. Just a half an hour. Got the 11"DD coil coming and parting with the 3D 10.5 and 5" coils. Looks like the GB is going to do what I bought the 3D to do. Not sure how to post pics here. These coins are in perfect condition for siting in the ground.

Sounds nice. How did the CZ-3D read the Barber dime up against the stone wall?

Didnt have it with me. Trying to get used to TID machine. Not letting go of the 3D and will be using it at this old site as well as Gold Bug. While not as deep as a 1021 model it still fills a niche.Landstar was just right for beginer like my brother. He's got the fever now. Hated to do it to him but its a great hobby.

With a little bit of proper training......and ANYONE can get 'hooked' into this hobby.
