My opinion i go with the Nox 900, you get two coils and Coiltek makes a array other coils, I hunted the street behind me this summer to find mercury dimes, indian head, and 3 rings, war nickles and other silver coins. I also have the Xterra pro but have not used it since I got the Nox 900. I also plan on using it for prospecting in the black hills of Sd, my air tests on small gold is great.

Seeing the prices drop on these the last couple of years I wanted to try a Flir type device on locating foundations, I picked a Flir One up from the Flir website for $249. I have been happy to report it's working well, I can tell where old houses used to be located by a temp fluctuations in the soil.

Lost my younger brother to Lyme disease, he lived in northern Wisconsin.
He caught it but did not know he had it, the disease affected his heart causing it to only function to half of its potential which ended shutting down his kidneys.
On the other side I used to hunt a lot, I would find a nice downed tree as a seat and by my own body heat I would reactivate through my warm Butt.

No I don't believe all the good sites are hunted out. Newer detecting technology has us finding deeper objects, also overlapping helps a lot, my best coin find came from Fresno California I was had over lapped another detectorist he missed a 1903 s barber dime that I added to my collection.
The site was a freshly scraped parking lot at the new Harley shop. Best of luck in 2016

I purchased the whole package extra coils and found it to work as good as one of the black units I had, I dug a 52 Rosey between 8-9".
Also I ran the sensitivity up to 86 with no chattering. I did not run it in all metal mode. But for the great street price I thing I have a good investment.

You can take a led and use it as a trigger for your sounds, the diode lights up when you go over a target, works great here in rattle snake Oklahoma. Prairie rattlers would rather strike before warning you.
