This Open Forum is now DISABLE to new posts due to the "Phorum" Forum Software used for this forum being generally obsolete and basically no longer supported. Recently, the server that hosts this website upgraded to MySQL version 8.0.36 and Phorum 5.2.23 is not compatible with MySQL version 8.0.36. I would spend it all on more ammo, you can never have to much ammo. Things can get crazy real fast, wait till this virus hits Mexico. They will be pouring across that border by the 100s of thousands.

My first time out with a metal detector was in 1980. I was using a Garrett ADS Groundhog detector. Turned machine on and within a minute I found a 1859 Indian Head. That did it for me, I have been hooked ever since.

I had one that did that, sent it back to Garrett for repairs. Pointer was out of warranty, I think the repair cost was $60.00. Pointer came back looking like a new unit, it has been working perfect since.
