I have had experience with ML's 'support'.. Try getting an excal repaired.. or a sword.. Even those of us who have early excal 11's.. They will not help at all..
I will admit that ML has done a lot of innovation.. and their technology is top notch ; the best?? meh ! ..maybe.. but there are a lot of other great companies
as well.. But as to ML.. engineering is fabulous, res

I have the round HF coil and it is a game changer in my conditions... I am searching drowned towns and the nail beds
are almost not to be believed.. sometimes that is all I can see... But the coil picks out the goodies nicely
I have heard that there is a new version 5 supposed to be coming out.. and a new selection of coils.. One is apparently a multi-frequency
unit.. That will help in the

I would say the Tesoro Toltec 100... more dials and switches than you could shake a stick at... but if, oh man that 'huge' IF, you ever got
it figured out, it was a class machine... but with changing ground conditions, you had to be on top of it all the time

I hope that it does work out fr Minelab.. they have needed a lightweight platform.. As for me.. I am not going to jump on the bandwagon.
I like my Deus very much... plus Minelab has that whole service and warranty issue to deal with before I will ever purchase another ML.

Not very likely.. Both of those brands have a high loyalty rating.. and I would like to see better information
and videos of real in the field tests... I am not giving up my Deus any time soo..
And then there is th

I may have one in my stuff downstairs.. let me check and get back to you later today.
If I do not, I am certain that there must be
people with a 3D printer who could snap one off easily

Personally, I enjoy the analysis by the other person.. He brings much more to the table than any one who only attacks..
If you do not like what he says...... do not read it. And give some credit to the intelligence of the readers. At least the other
fellow is making an effort to educate us

Same here Goodmore.. The heavier machine just do not work for me..
Plus, I am working HEAVY iron/nail infested sites in my drowned towns.. and so far, no machine has even come close to sniffing out those old coins and artifacts from the iron as does the Deus.
It has a VERY steep curve though.. and to be fair, some people will probably never get the hang of it.. and that is okay too.. Just

Unlike Arthur, I am very, impressed with the Deus.. I have done side by side tests with an etrac and a CTX... The Deus, 'IN MY HUNTING CONDITIONS', outshines them both.
The only new one I will get, is the Deus 4.0 when and if it becomes available

I am 5 foot 6 and 138 pounds.. Two shoulder surgeries late, I am limited to a fast response and light weight machine.. Deus was my choice.. I do not regret it at all...
As TN has said, if funds were tight, get the controller, the coil of your choice, the shaft and leave it at that until you can get the wireless phones.. I have the whole package... but in the summer, I use my wired Sennheiser
