One very experienced designer made a nice comparison: putting more TX power is like turning on big lights in the fog.... you will not get much of improvement.

Great Video, thank you for the great job. All be best for You !!! We keep our fingers crossed for You. Keep fighting LowBoY!
I hope you get better soon.

In the scope of resistance there is not much of improvement: the difference in conductivity is like between 58,6 (Cu) and 61,39 (Ag) those numbers just to show proportion.
If we speak about TX coil, the goal is to generate as much current as we can so silver helps a little bit (as above).
For RX coil the noise issue is important ... so OFC Cu can help. Anyhow a low noise front-end is appreciate

Tank you Tom and LowBoY.
I hope that the winner in the group SE/LTD, T2, G2 and i just feel some straight forward simplicity of G2 ... it reminds me CZ .... you can't go wrong with CZ.
Good luck!

Can you please share your experience with G2 and F75 in the scope of coin hunting and relic hunting in low to moderate min. grounds.
From what i have read it seems that G2 can be a good choice but would it be better that F75 for such a hunting ???.
I have read on some forum that G2 uses main frequency 19kHz and 3,5kHz (just a rumor but fascinating). this 3,5kHz can help to detect copper and S

Great benefit of Tom's work is because all explanations come from the man that has deep technical knowledge. Let's face facts, most of us just use detector and has no idea what going on inside.
It is a treasure that there is someone who can translate all of 'black box magic' to human language. An believe me a lot is going on between coil and headphones/LCD.
Inside there is

Some time ago i bought those:
Slim-line series connectors:
1. MALE Cord plug with coupler ring: SL40M405M (with strain relief SL05);----------that one on the coil cable
And one of those for the box (i do not remember which one):
2. Female Receptacle (Rear panel mount) SL175F (complete with nuts & washers);
3. Female Receptacle (Front panel mount) SL185F (complete with nuts & washers

CZ-6a (box) and coils can be updated by changing connectors to typical for all the rest of CZ's family: by SWITCHCRAFTt. Just some soldering and fixing.

I confirm CZ is great! i have CZ6a and modified chassie and coil connectors to match standard CZ connector system. Great unit on the beach and low miner. soil. Make sure you use X-pattern sweep over the target in this way you can unmask if iron is close to good target. ...CZ has tendency to ID deep iron as High coin/Ag or to report deep coin as Iron but then the sound is week (just remove 5 cm of

That's the point ! No matter what the next unit will be (single or multi freq.) we will see CPU/DSP onboard.
Great text Steve(MS)!. It is good to read Dave Johnson's opinion... anytime.

It seems that all of us agree... in our expectations: it shall be ..
1. Stable
2. Fast reaction electronics (ability to recognize close targets as DD with F75)
3. Deep (depth of CZ on Ag and depth of LTD on relics)
4. Ag sensitive (proper main frequency, or harmonics)
5. Easy to operate (see CZ's)
6. Good ergonomics
7. Sealings (environmental protection: Rain Water / dust ... possibly

Thank you Tom,
You know... i think that there is a small gap in the new line F's performance... i mean coins (those close to Ag), do you think that F. will lunch new unit that join all benefits of CZ (1+3h, Ag sens etc.) and F (speed, close iron operation).
I hope to see such a unit - that might be the killer ... just one more freq channel, and all into DAC/DSP. anyhow Mr. Dave Johnson k

It seems that all brands step aside from analog circuits to DSP processing so all CZ platform is left behind...., but still in use (many of them) ! .
What is your experience with performance of new F75 SE/ LTD vs CZ's.
There is obvious difference due to DD coil pattern and speed of electronics (CZ has analog filters) F's are faster so masking is better controlled.
But i would like
