Nothing wrong with that !! You don’t have to have the latest and so called greatest to get the goods. I have a CZ5 that I bought in 1993 and it still has a place with me. I have tested many brands of detectors against it and many were sold and the CZ5 remains. I always give the challenging detector one full year of experienced use before deciding to sell ..... as to keep up with what new technolo

The Fisher CZ......I have got 26 good years from mine. I know what it’s limitations are and I accept it. Calabash brings a lot to the table......information....good or bad , it helps to make decisions on future purchases that I can make. I like ole calabashes info better than the info that was provided for the last 40 years of detecting by publication/ print media where you got detector reviews t

Which detector would you say has the best identification properties for someone who solely coinshoots.... Nox 800 ,XP ORX, or Anfibio?????

Hey Calabash, Would it have helped the Garrett to go at the target from different directions to get a better result , or was it just as bad from other directions??

Hey Flintstone, I had a VX3 back in 2008 and kept it for 6 months, as to be fair in my testing of this detector. Three frequency simultaneously sounded great on paper, but the processor used to run the detector was terribly slow. The recovery speed could be sped up, but not enough, if you speed the recovery up to be as fast as a ..... say (Fisher)...... the audio would be terribly degraded (clipp

Hey Calabash, I think lots of seasoned veteran detectorist resist newer technologies available from the three detectors you speak of. I hated the crappy audio on lots of detectors that are offered by manufacturers today (clipped audio). The Nox , Anfibio, Deus seemed to all have better audio, especially the Anfibio!! Heck I would take a fisher CZ with adjustable iron volume!!!! That would set my

Hey CD,keep on doing your videos, they are informative. I have been detecting since 1976 and in all these years , not once ever did I ever read a detector review (in publication) that even remotely had any negative or detector weak points to warn the buyer about !!! Keep on comparing and showing your info !! How about a video on how consistent or how jumpy the ID is on coins in the 6-10 inch dept

Calabash is right, if you resist to long, you will be left behind !! Like it not ,all products are progressing.Detector manufactures are giving us more options......We need to try to fully understand how to use that to our advantage. HH Tony

I think Tom has valid points, most people here are not brand loyal...I would certainly use a different tool to get the job done if it served its purpose well. FTP seems to give all kinds of reasons they can't make a new modern CZ for an extremely popular platform........Maybe, just maybe this could be Minlabs take on something that a lot of serious detectorist have been hoping for , for yea

There's probably a lot more people ready to let go of $800.00 for a very good detector than $2000+ detector that I can come in behind with a CZ5 and still make good finds . !! HH Tony

Will the detector run with 3 frequencies all at once, or only 1 at a time, or 2 at a time?? Need a better explanation of how it operates ?? Please explain. Thanks Tony

I never feel outgunned with my CZ 5, heck I have hunted behind lots of brands and still dig nice deep silver, etc. I have a Garrett 1250 that hangs around as a backup and it is pretty darn good itself !! H.H. Tony. My hunting partner hates when we trade sides of a yard and I pick out a few more items he Well I guess overlooked!!

Must be two of us,I have one, but only use it on very deep targets that try to elude me. My CZ-5 pinpoints great ,without wasting any time then on to the next find.I use the pinpointer one out of fifty digs. HH Tony.
