I have the TRX and it works great for me. Never had a Garrett, so I'm not noticing as much as others do as far as what is "wrong" with the TRX. Chose it over the Garrett for its better depth and because the Garrett has a history of reliability issues. I'm curious how well they work. Please follow up.
My research showed the same, if you want to go bluetooth, the aptx low latency was the only way to be sure the lag would be tolerable. Some non aptx bluetooth tx and rx MIGHT have tolerable lag, but specs are hard to come by and finding such a pair is unlikely.

"BB guns" are .177 caliber. The Pellets are approximately .177 or slightly larger. The "BBs" are steel shot, coated with copper, or sometimes zinc (Daisy Quicksilver.) The BBs are actually smaller than .177, google says .171 to .173, better to roll down a smooth bore. There are lead .177 BBs (Perfect Rounds) out there.
