Yes Dan I think the CZ's are the deepest, just try the 10 1/2" coil on a CZ. Very deep , just not good in trash with the 10". I have had a lot of detectors but the cz with the 10 1/2 " coil will go deeper where I live then any other detector.

Is anyone using the AT pro and if so how does it compare with the f75 or cz's for coin hunting on land ??? Thinking about getting one with a 6.5x9" concentric coil?? What do you think.

I hunt with the 3x7" coil all the time because I hunt where a lot of trash is . The small coil will get a dime at about 71/2 " in my ground.

All the test were done with a clad dime. Etrac with a x5 coil= in auto 5", in manual of 28 = 6",, F75 with a 3x7" coil sen. 0n 80 = 7",, a 1998 cz5 with 5" coil = sen. on 7 = 7", sen. on 10 = 81/4". And I have noticed when the ground is dry you lose depth and when it is wet you gain depth. I don't have much mineralization where I live. I think that will mak

I had bought 5"DD & 3x6" coils and like the 3x6 much better it the trash. All so the 3x6 is a little deeper. I use the 3x6 on the f75 and sold the 5".

CZ 5, F75 , SE , etrac. You know Tom it is bad when a old cz 5 with a 5" coil can go deeper the these others detectors. I have a test garden and have a dime at 9" the cz 5 with a 5" coil will hit it, but the f75 with 3x7 , SE with 6x8 butterfly coil, or the etrac with stander coil will not hit this dime. I think these detector co. are trying to pull the wool over peoples eyes.

That is to bad because to me the cz's were one os the best detectors. I have a cz 5 and can go behind some other detectors ( like etrac& SE I have that cost a lot) and find a lot of coins. They just don't make them as good as old Hr Fisher any more. Thanks Tom & Bill

I coin hunt & I have the f75 and the e-trac. I do like the e-trac & SE but the f75 with the little 3x7 concentric coil in the trash well for me well out the Minelabs. I have tried it , in Dec. of 08 I hunted a spot with the SE & e-trac that way very trashy 3 times then went back over it with the f75 & 3x7 coil and found 3 seated halfs ( 1855-0, 1856-0, 1861-0). Ane they were not t

Went to a spot and hunted with the e-trac and got .32 clad, 10 wheat. Then went over it with the f75 and got .14 clad, 4 of the clad were nickels, 5 wheat, and 3 war time nickels. So put the nickels under the e-trac , No. were 12.11 to 12.15 a lot of pull tabs will fall in there. F75 no. on the nickels were 29 or 30 some pull tabs will fall there but not a lot, most are above or below.

I'm not sure but think the $5 was used the most. You have got to think in the 1850's are so when a man worked $5 was a lot of money back then. A person may not make $50 in 1 yr. But it looks like the $1 to 5 would be the most lost because of the size of the coin. But I have been hunting for 15 yrs. and found a lot of silver half dollars so they could have lost a 10 or 20?

This is a air test on gold coins with the f75. A $1, 2 1/2 , 5, 10 & 20... $ 1 = (26), $ 2 1/2 = (41), $ 5 = (52), $ 10 = (61), $ 20 = (69)... maybe this will help someone find some of this .

Well I think the ratio depends on where you are hunting. I have seen at a race track one time where it had 50 tabs in 1 Squ.ft. so it goes up. OH the f75 did very good in that type of trash , I had the 3x7 coil.

I have read where people said on the frequency you can watch them and tell the difference in a gold ring and a pull tab. This would be nice if it will do that? I know this I have a MXT and they are a good detector but not as deep are as fast as the f75. And will not work the trash as good ( bought have small coil on them). And so far on all detectors the get a gold ring you have to dig a lot of t
