Well, I realized quite a few years ago while detecting at some great virgin sites while leaving my wife and young kids at the time at home while doing it to satisfy my need to detect, that in fact they, my wife and kids, were truly the biggest treasures I could ever wish for and have hin my life..,so I stopped and haven’t looked back too many times. Fact: There are particular forum members that post more than others...some rarely post at all...that's fine, of course. And many post some rather interesting stuff that is appreciated by most forum members. There have been and are currently a few who post a lot regarding many topics often unrelated and frankly obscure topics at times in my opinion...like many say, just don't read it

Alright guys, definitely the toughest time of year for those of us in the northeast, but I know MRH isn't posting what he did due to cabin fever. I surely appreciate his always super detailed posts and finds pics. Always on topic and appropriate...funny, I was thinking the same thing as he was. There is just a certain level of posting that is very acceptable and not annoying to others if

Hi Rick,
Yes, I agree there certainly is a language to CZ's and iron...however; serendipitously I discovered this in a handful of machines. I have had several CZ-70's and CZ-3D's that simply do not high tone false on iron like most machines...for me, joyful non-tedious hunting. Yes, I realize that Dave Johnson probably did not design them this way but frankly I wish he did.

Bill,
Sorry I thought I couldn't send PM's since I was not getting a confirmation of it before the software changes.
Thanks,

Bill,
I have tested dozens of 1021 and 1121 units since they first came out. I have found that many of the 1121's are better in iron than 1021's. I have kept two pristine 1121 units with everything that came with them except the box. One hits over 12 inches, the other appears to go way beyond that. Neither unit has been tested or tuned by Tom but both are surely excellent units.

My wife, our boys and I were in Pearl Harbor several years ago...very somber and surreal experience to stand above the Arizona and see her oil droplets still coming to the surface and the rusting ship...none of us will ever forget the feeling we had that day. I cherish the conversations I have had over the years with WWII vet patients and the true stories they have shared with me...truly all at

Dan, you will often feel exhausted right after I am told...but will bounce back soon after between dialysis sessions. I don't see why you cannot continue your enjoyment of the hobby for a long time! All my best to you, Dan.

You just don't get it do you, Kemper? You are not wanted on this forum by the majority of members. No matter what some people hope or think, you will never change unfortunately...you have proven what a piece of dirt you are by posting a statement about this forum: " This place sucks." While I sincerely appreciate the forum admins position on this, with all due respect, I agree with all the other posters who have been on here from pretty much the beginning of the forum as well that there are in my words a few that come onto any forum causing purposeful drama, disruption, and disarray to name a few that have to be talked to and often ultimately be permanently removed for the go

My other forum? You have always practically acted like this is your own personal forum...the Gary Kemper forum. I think not...fortunately most can see through your facade. I disagree that this forum is ever boring it's just not as active at some times than others...hopefully my quick post will spice it up for you so it's not so boring for you ><

I echo Mike Hillis and ShovelNose. It's truly amazing to me how, especially since current president came in office and started apologizing for practically everything in American history that so many have started to do the same thing. Over the course of history since the beginning, there are the conquerors and the conquered, essentially the winner and the losers in that never ending human

You Kempers have become "Things that negatively effect the hobby". Talk about not keeping on topic and becoming an advertisement for yourselves. Please keep this on Facebook or other social media sites where it belongs. It's obvious from your facebook site that you relish the drama you cause on different forums and want to be number one on Google...get a life and just leave th

Well, I had to tell someone off on my metal detecting site. that's the way love goes,I guess.
People take this stuff way to seriously and I usually give em 4 strikes or more but no one gets a free ride. Here is what someone said to me...he then proceeds to tell me off...what a

I'll second that, Dew...frankly, with all due respect to other forum members, I don't care what goes on with other forums. The joy of this forum for so long has been the lack of drama and the focus of metal detecting techniques, pearls, finds and technical aspects of the hobby for many types of machines. Nuff said...

Your post just now is worthless garbage cluttering up this fine forum like the spammer posts. You obviously have WAY too much time on your hands. There was a glimmer of hope with you but now you are reverting...please just stick to metal detecting and that's it...please stop with the youtube song links...it's long beyond getting old

Free speech is one thing...a right given by our forefathers in our constitution...but it's a privilege in my opinion to join a group and post on a privately owned forum. If you upset the wonderful balance between members and become a purposeful irritant to others then I feel you negate this privilege. A saying from my childhood long ago..."you had better straighten up and fly right&qu
