I just got a deus and really really like it.. no plans on getting an equinox ..just so many things to like about it. My thoughts are with the deus being upgradable and new coils just came out it's still a top performer ...

Agree...the weight and waterproof factors in for alot of people. Have 3 frequencies to choose from is still great. And I believe with it's options just won me over .. I know makro has top notch customer service.. I like the battery mod under armrest that uses the Garrett battery pack as I have 2 of the RnB batteries.. ads another 10 plus hours which is amazing.. looks very rugged and I real

I really like the thought put into this. Is this ok for tall people? Is there any way someone that has one could measure the full extension from back bottom of hand grip where palm goes to coil bolt please?

My ATMax in all metal mode is probably the deepest machine I've ever owned. And I've owned a bunch. ... Great vid. Tells alot about your dirt.

Exactly. I have not used any of the AT machines but I did stay at a Holiday inn last night. It does remind me of the first edition t2 and f75. Sparky and a very ve

I run mine 4-6 bars on sens and it's very deep and smooth it hits hard on very small targets like brass, copper and silver... 22 shell casings 6-8" deep with loud and clear signals. Nickels at extreme depths ..I feel with the Gizmo added to the stem at elbow make detector balance very very well.. as good as f75 the nel thunder weighs less than the stock Garrett coil if you use the Ga

From looking at the video it appears Garrett made the upper handle arm cuff longer.. Seems to me the handles on the ace series and at series was the same. The Max is definitely longer in video. That alone is a huge plus if it's true..

This sounds really good.. I was hoping to use the wireless system with all of my detectors.. With the new headphones having it built in makes it nice

Yep I'm 6'4" and use a xterra 705 which stock has more than enough. My etrac did not have the length I needed nor did most detectors. Tall man rods on my fishers and whites. But out of the box stock the 705 was only one that had the length.

Oh i know .. i just meant that i do like multi tone on that detector and the tones are pleasant to hear. 28 tones over the 3-4 i normally use.. the f75 sound more digital.. but doable..

yeah ive sold them all.. ive used the f75 of diff variants the most along with mxt.. but i really liked the etrac but it was so unbalanced it hurt an old injury between my shoulders so the 705 is close for me.. im not mattied to any of them.

i have the 7.5 freq NEL tornado on my 705 and its lighter and deeper than the stock 7.5 DD .. i have found several very deep indians that my f75 with the ultimate coil could not see. my 705 is most likely the deepest detector ive had.
