keep us updated as I have an e-trac and f75 ltd. have not used it yet due to the snow.. The -trac is going to be a tough one to beat in my opinion...found a lot of silver last year with it in places that have been hunted hard. Be sure and posts your results!!! good luck

I am curious for comments on this one other than the dime was freshly buried. Hope that is the problem. I know on most units a freshly buried coin will not ID accurately. Hope this is the case here as I know very little about the f75 ltd. Good luck

Seems like the LTD is more noted for RELIC hunting. I wish that people thought more of it for coin hunting as I just coin hunt.. Makes me wonder if I need the LTD? any thoughts appreciated. I realize most posts always refer to relic hunting when they talk about the f75 LTD. The subject line was a quote!!!!

I have heard they are spraying the coils with some type of protection. Not sure of what it is actually doing other than maybe just a litlle moisture protection.. Time will tell for sure

Since you an get a nice used f75 for around 600.00 or even less it seems, do you think the ltd is worth the difference? I realize that for 1200.00 you are getting an extra coil and warranty, but just comparing detectors is the ltd really that much better

I have always like the CZ line. Still like the E-trac though.
I just purchased a "mint" CZ 6A and also has the 5 inch coil. Would like to hang onto this one but I usually don't. going to try on this one though.. These are hard to find ,especially in this "mint" condition. If I ever find the speaker that fits on top would purchase it just to have it.

You should try to use the f-75 a little while as it will be totally different than what you are use to with the 3d. both are good units just a little different. As far as waiting for the ltd it would be at least double in price if you are looking at a used f-75.. double $$$,, as TD would say HMMMMMMMMMMMMM

What I like best and it seems it has to be more true to life situations. Find a good deep target and BEFORE digging it up ,have the other detector try to get a reading of what they think it might or might not be... Then after everyone has there say so DIG. That after a while should tell the REST OF THE STORY...what say about this kind of testing instead of AIR test ect......
