it can discriminate nails and small pieces of iron but larger rusty iron can not be discriminated it also discriminate aluminium foil but i never tried to check how is discriminated pull tabs because i hunt only in the forest and those are quite rare.

I have an eds winner and i can tell you that is a deep machine,but more depth you can have with eds PLUS which is manual GB and it is a lot powerful than the winner...you can see the difference between auto and manual GB in this video
