Yes air. And yes that's about max. You could probably get a whisper past that but not much. It's very weak. There isn't much gain past 50 on sens. In ground I can lift an inch or two above my 8" quarter. I can go higher in BP disc. The motion AM regardless of process is the same.

It sounds like the prototypes were fine. I had a t2se previous and g2. The all metal on those is probably close to 50% deeper than on the new f75. It's only about 12" on a quarter regardless of process. You might get a fain whisper past that but its nothing like the t2se or g2 was. Disc seems pretty good. I would put the all metal depth even with DE in disc. BP in disc is about 2

yep, just posted some findings on findmall. am has same depth as de process in disc. bp disc is deeper. its like there is no gain in am after 50 sense. bp doesnt boost in am either. static am sees fine.

I wonder if lowering the pitch will help. I'll have to test. the default is now higher pitch. The "momma" is only when there is a sharp transition feom no target to target. its more pronojnced on buried targets and not much at all on airtest. It doesnt both me but it is odd.

my new f75 ltd 2 and repaired ETP both have the silicone over the screws heads. I'm impressed with the repair. Needed new pin point button. got a new one, plus entire new faceplate, new coil connector on the coil, new washers and bolt for the coil, and brand new 9v battery.

The ID was much better and tighter in 9.0 vs 9.1 for me on buried test garden 7" dime and 8" quarter. The audible EMI was not different but perhaps DST is still helping inaudible EMI or the slower process gives better depth and thus tighter ID. Not sure. I have brand new LTD2 and have never had a F75 so its all new to me.

their documentation is riddled with typo's. There is a typo in the frequencies available for frequency select and the typo is in all manuals, documentation and website.

Maybe, one could also argue it would hurt their business as they sell new units and the used market would be

Now that I look, Minelab has a new detector in testing! Using wireless. They have some pictures, manual, schematics hidden with confidentiality for 3 months but check this out.

Wonder if it's just a gold detector with wireless phones.

typically detectors only need to worry about FCC Part 15 Subpart B is for unintentional radiators. Fortunately for them this is just manufacture stating compliance (9kHz+). However some have paid for testing to verify compliance. If you do and OET search on FCC website you can see entries from FTP for F75 and G2. Whites has recently tested the TRX.
There is an entry for Minelab for the CT

Too bad they don't add an automated frequency selection option like another company.

He's too busy pushing/selling the Deus right now. Give him a month or two to promote fisher again. :p

digital shielding sounds like a fancy way saying just hiding it in software. It's still entering the coil and thus still a problem, just not and audio one. Less depth. Probably some sort of threshold and phase compensation that the software can enact and keep normalized ID rather than the user tweak said feature to compensate manually.
