I agree, why hasn't' Minelab been releasing anymore updates for the 3030?
The only thing I can think of it so they can release a CTX 4040 and FB3. and charge $2995 While in reality they could have just done a software upgrade to the 3030 for a small fee.

I agree. Bottom line is, if you know YOUR machine inside and out, you'll pull things people walked over. Any of the top high end machines will find the goods. F75, Etrac/CTX, T2SE, Deus.
You see people doing amazing things with an XLT...consistently. at pounded cellars.

Honest observations from professionals in this hobby
Thanks guys!
I found this quote in findmall and I believe it's true
"there is no one perfect detector, so don't fall into the trap of thinking the grass is always greener on the other side. Make your pick, commit to having fun and putting the time in learning it and the finds will come.
Take a look at any of the Findm

Ok here goes. Everyone in the past I'd say 6 months has been jumping on the DEUS wagon....I've seen people list more machines in the classifieds then I've ever seen...and speculation is they're going into the Deus.
I'm an old coin hunter....not into relics, not even into buttons...unless it's a GW LOL.......and I hate digging iron LOL. I'm a self admited ch

How tight numbers should you dig?
Obviously deeper targets will give a not so accurate indicator but in general should I only dig repeatable numbers in say 75-95 range if I'm looking for coins?
I know when numbers bounce all, over the place it's usually trash
Any help is appreciated

Now if they made a Deus competitor without the wireless, then I'd be interested..very interested
A multi frequency (selecatable) machine (like he deus) that you can choose the frequency based on conditions and what your're after and I'd be all over it. And you can keep the wireless out of the equation, just drives up the cost and not needed.
7 Khz, 12 Khz, 19Khz etc.

To me, the F19 looks like a 19Khz Eurotek Pro. More of a lateral move then anything "new". Just a rehash of technology they already have. Calling it the "Best Relic Machine Ever" is a little bit of a strech to me.....

Honestly I think the F19 is just a GBP/G2 with Eurotek Pro features. Ways to adjust tones and get more info like mineralization etc....perfomance wise I'd guess they're very close.

I was watching Gary's video on the GBP. He states ground balenceing isn't necessary on land.
Which leads me to you guys, is it necessary? Does it really carry over into Discrimiate mode?
Thanks!
His video is below

What is your pick for the best coin machine in iron? Typically hunt around cellars/foundations. I'm not really a relic guy, just looking for largies/old silver.
I know the higher freq machines get the nod for these situations, but don't do great on coins...more suited for lower conductors.
Omega?
G2/GBP?
F75?
I'd ask about the GMP but rather get a machine that I can ge

Deus and CTX are two different animals.... Both have their pluses and minuses. Deus = iron lighting machine CTX= Deep silver/parks machine.

I agree with goodmore. I consider myself pretty much a "weekend only" detectorist, so its tough to justify a $2000 machine. I don't really water hunt either. Its a great machine for sure, but my Etrac will find 95% what the CTX will.
If they made an Etrac V2 that had the same features of the CTX (FBS2) same processor but not waterproof, I'd be all over it. I think the wa

I hunt the same areas as you Joe, I would take depth over unmasker. At least around here. I've found coins under roots and rocks an honest 10 inches, (using an etrac). If I hunted cellars and foundations in CT/MA I'd take an unmasker. I am looking at Getting a Gold bug pro come tax season.......

I'm primarily a coin hunter (silvers/coppers). I know the 19khz is more suited for gold/lower conductors. How would they both stack up when hunting cellars/foundations for coins?

2 Questions
How does the Eurotek Pro do in iron sites (foundation/Cellars) vs the G2/GBP?
How does a Eurotek Pro do on Coppers/Dimes vs a G2/GBP. Which will go deeper?
I know the G2/GBP does better on lower conductors (higher KHZ) then a ETP.....]
Thanks
