Make a good product and word of mouth will sell it for you. Hype will only get you so far. Hopefully, Nokta-Makro has enough common sense to make a small 6 or 7 inch 'concentric' search coil for the X. The X is basicly a relic detector and will have trouble competing with the top of line coin shooters, so they had better have a small concentric search coil for it. You just wait and see

The 7 inch 'concentric' search coil on the Makro Kruzer is what gave your hunting buddy the edge. It's by far the best search coil for the Kruzer at trashy sites that are loaded up with nails, roof tin pieces and can tops. It's light, deep, separates well and discriminates a whole lot better than a DD search coil does. It's a must have search coil for the Kruzer. I sold m

When is the X going to be available to purchase? When are some trusted testers going to be able to get their hands on some X detectors so they can post their test results? And when are they going to cough up how much they would like to get for the X?

I like the concept of the X, but if it's overly priced for a simple beep and dig detector, it will die on the vine. We don't even know how well the X separates, unmask or how deep it is. If it can't beat the Deus or Equinox at those 3 task, then way would anyone want one and give up all the features that the Deus and Equinox offer, especially at the same price point?

I'm kind of glad that they didn't do the 3 or 4 tone ID. A V-Nickel and a Barber quarter laying next to one another in the ground would likely ID as a screw cap or zinc penny and talk me out of digging. Maybe they'll do the next one with 3 or 4 tone ID, so then we can have both.

Analog is great, especially when paired with a small concentric search coil. If Deeptech doesn't come out with a small concentric search coil for the X in short order, I'm going to be getting another MXT with a 6" concentric search coil for my detector arsenal. This new Deeptech detector is looking good so far!

I've lost more money on Deeptech detectors that I bought and sold than I have on other brands. They DON"T hold their value. It's a beep and dig detector with a short warranty, not a big screen TV. When the new wears off, they'

Ozzie, I had to put my F75 with DST back in my SUV because it was chattering so badly at the last site that I detected. I even switched over to boost mode and reduced the sensitivity to 20 and it still wouldn't stop its chattering. I'm not talking about a little chatter either, I'm talking about so much chatter that the detector couldn't be used. I pulled out my CZ and it didn

Great story, thanks for sharing. I also get some perks when it comes to metal detecting from being a retired Real Estate Agent/Home Builder/Land Developer. For the first time, at a nail infested old site, that I have pounded with numerous detectors, I gave my CZ3D a try with the 5" inch search coil attached. Right from the get go I found a Indian Head penny. That made me a believer! Also, I

I really like the smaller control housing a lot! The larger control housings looked goofy. The battery box is NOW designed to be the way it should have been to begin with. The old design was a complete joke. Being an avid Tesoro user, I'll probably get one if the audio tone is anything like the Vista Gold Gain. I don't care for the audio tones on some of the other Deeptech detectors. bu

I remember awhile back I had a new tone Golden uMax that would cleanly high tone on a 8"+ buried dime using a 8 inch search coil.
It's believed to be the deepest Golden uMax on Planet Earth. It's not your everyday Golden uMax.

Maybe they're talking about something else. At any rate the CZ3D design concept is genius and well thought out.
"With this detector, performance and ID can be further enhanced by a slower coil sweep speed, more so than previous CZ models, especially in trashy areas".

See what happens when I read the manual. lol Maybe they're saying that the CZ3D ID's better at a much slower sweep speed than the earlier CZ detectors. They didn't say it for nothing.

I don't know, I just read what they said in the manual. It's seems like they'd know.

It's raining so I spent my time reading the CZ3D manual. Most everything that I read I pretty much already knew. The one thing that I didn't know was that the CZ3D has a faster recovery speed than 'previous' CZ detectors which they claim makes it better at trashy sites. "Better ID at slower swing speed". I always thought that they all had the same recovery speed. Al

It's really sad to hear about losing a forum member. People are living a lot longer nowadays because of the advancement of medicine etc.. However, it does you no good if you refuse the take advantage of it.

I saw nothing but rain and a dark sky. You might want to tryout a neat app for iPhone called 'Planets'. It shows on your screen precisely where the planets and moon are located when it's raining, during daylight hours, and even when they are below the horizon. All you have to do is point your phone while looking at the screen.

I already have one pending offer on e-Bay for $775 + $45 shipping = $820. E-Bay and PayPal fees sure run up the price. 90% of the stuff that I list on the forums at lower prices ends up selling on e-Bay at much higher prices. The net is the same to me.

I have the Nox, e-Trac, and CTX 3030. The Nox is totally out classed by the e-Trac and CTX 3030 by a long shot when it comes to finding old silver coins at trashy parks. I'm keeping the Nox for beach, water hunting and for sites that are loaded up with a bunch of nails. Then again, my Deus will beat out the Nox when it comes to hunting in a bed of nails.

I have a super nice e-trac for sale on EBAY. $735 shipped without e-bay and PayPal fees. It works great, I love the audio tones and vast coil selection, but I have a CTX 3030 and I sure don't need both. Both detectors kick butt when it comes to finding silver coins.

China's government isn't our friend or ally; it's our biggest enemy. Let's not forget that China is a communist/socialist country that has killed and enslaved tens of millions of its own citizens. Buying cheap goods from them is just feeding the dragon. We're all guilty of it to some degree.
