Thanks All for the truth, I see some tell how good xxx is but think they have not detected before. Some say it is top of the line, I know it is a low price detector, not to pick on it, just to find the truth. The way some on other forums talk it has left all other detectors in the dust. Thanks all Dean

OK guys, Is the Simplex+ that good or better than most detectors or just better than a cheep detector? I have been looking at it but I have a Deus ,and F75, MXT, Is it as good or better? I don't want to buy a new detector and find out that what I have is much better. I know it is water proof, I like that, but give me the facts. Is it just good for the price? I want to know. Thanks Dean

I like the TRX best also, I like that you can use one 9v or 2 aa batterys. The TRX is water proof and has a higher setting than the Garretts, or at lease I can feel it and hear it better.

Thanks all for the advice, it's not like I need to make the DFX my main detector. This is a new detector with the 9.5" coil, 5.3 coil, Whites headphones, New rechargeable battery and charger,New Whites padded bag, and a digger all new. For $285.00 I could not buy the coils and rechargeable battery. I have a XP Deus, the MXT, and 5 other detectors. I will play with it and if I can unders

I Googled it and you can set it to find Foil and Nickles and that is where the most rings fall. The 5.3 coil is still in plastic and the bag has never been used. The detector looks like new. I think someone just didn't give it much time to under stand it. I have a MXT and I love the way I find rings with it. We will just see, if not I will sell it.

Hi TabMan, I have the 6x8 was think in clean ground the 9.5 would do better. I got a 12" SEF coil, the white one it fits the MXT but don't seam to go very deep.

Yes, It dose not have to be V rated, I just have the first MXTs that came out. If any one want to trade a 6x10 coil I will even do that. It will use a V rated coil if that is what anyone has. Dean

Thanks Mike, I have 7 detectors and keep going back to my MXT. I have a XP Deus that I use a little more but I still love my MXT and still do good with it. I have almost all the coils for it but let a friend use my 9.5" and hate to take it back from him it is all he has to use.I though I could find one ease but I see people don't let them go. Thanks Dean

The one on Ebay, you can't buy now but can add to watch list. I put it on my list and when I can buy I will. I have lost more than $50.00 on other detectors, If I can get one I will let everyone know if it works. Wish me luck, flintstone

Therover, I think you so much for your offer, but if something would happen to it I would feel bad. would you sell it. I would like to try it. I have the Deus, and about used it about 41/2 years, and was thinking about going to my MXT to see if I missed anything. I have the 6x10 coil for the MXT, was told it didn't get much depth. I got a MXT when Whites first came out wit it, and have a lot

I have had my Deus for about 41/2 years and still going. I hunt a lot, sometimes 2 times a day. When it showed half or lower battery I put it on the charger. I might need a battery before long, but not buying aaa batterys I saved money. I love my Deus, about hunted all my places and now thing about going back to my MXT to see if the Deus missed anything.

What would be the best big coil for the MXT to go a little deeper? I have the 9.5 and 6x10. What after market coil, not to heavy, but will go deeper. Thanks flintstone
