Curantly own a Mirage P.I made by sven , and a silver Umax with ground balance mode, and a Tesoro Tejon

Yes large targets get Ignored..That's why in old house sites that may have been coin hunted hard I've had Good luck with digging Civil War Belt Plates over the years..

The Coin Hunters leave that big stuff...

Relic hunter will to if they don't have a Visual I.D. and there's a lot of big iron around..Hard to tell big iron from a Belt plate without some visual reference at times.teh its hard at times with Visual...

Happens in camps too..I've dug large brass out of camps that were hunted to death...like Brass Butt plates off Enfields..Powder flask's..Belt plates..Cartridge Box plates..Breast Plates...Etc..Hunters think its big iron...
