An educated ear and comfortable swing....

Only second time out this year due to personal family problems so felt a little uncomfortable with sore arm and rechecking the ghost signals....After a while I just knew a good hit from a ghost signal and developed a swing that was comfortable...So just like riding a bike but takes a bit for the 25 years experience to kick in. We al know meters are a tool
but listen to what the audio is telling you and above all develop a comfortable swing for those long days as they are tools also.

Dan,I do that STILL,pay too much attention to those falses. The deal is,I'm hunting a couple old places where the coins are deep and ghost signals and real hits start out sometimes sounding very alike! I hear you though,a steady sweep and good overlap will most times separate the wheat from the chaff. Good to know you made it out. Hopefully many more of those this season...
