What I've been doing.....pics

My Babygirl graduated, last one out of 6....

Re-doing rooms one by one...

Hanging old glory...after pressure washing everything, house, pool deck, driveways, sidewalks, back porch...

Cleaning this and keeping it clean and hanging baskets and growing grass...

One trip water hunting, almost too hot for that here, water temp 85 degrees...a little 14k white and yellow gold...

My last 5 or so trips detecting finds, too dang hot...

Seeing a whole bunch of gators while fly fishing and swimming/cooling on the sandbars...

Can you see this old man, alligator snapping turtle about 40 pounds...he is looking straight at me...

Catching a lot these on the fly rod taking my girls fishing...

And getting older every day and lovin it! I'm done with that waking up goin to work thing...I'm not even unhooking the boat anymore for a while lol...it's been hooked up to the truck for a week!

Wayne I turn 59.5 tomorrow so I'm done. Thought about it for a long time and told the wife and she agreed. Time to relax and enjoy, what little I need, don't need much, I'm penalty free tomorrow. Been off 2 months now and lord it's great. With the way things are going in this country my kids probably won't get to do what I've just done anyway so just spending my time with them and enjoying what "I" like to do. The pic of me was something I sent to my girls, they get a kick out of it plus it keeps my hair from turning grayer when water hunting lol.......... Sunburn on the scalp is rough too. Just having fun...............

Nice looking home, too Jack,,and the pool-- that's exactly where I would be when it is scorching.

I wasn't talking about the parts you have covered, Jack <g>.

I have one bandana and 8 or 9 doo rags I use to keep from parching the "unprotected" part of my head (most of it) when I'm detecting, mowing, or in the garden.
They also help keep the sweat out of my eyes. My fave is the one with a piratey motif in grey and red and white when I'm out searching for "booty."

Congrats on the retirement, Jack. I know I enjoy mine!

Looks like a popp'in bug stuck in that red belly bull bluegills mouth,three ringers in Florida is not common, I've only found one.
Congrats on your girl finishing up school and retiring.. Yea we've seen the end of the good old days,I don't even recognize America from just 8 yrs ago.
Was a hoot in the 70's with cheap muscle cars and no "Posted Keep Out" signs everywhere. No saltwater fishing license and seasons or bag limits,,who'd thought.
