If you want you can adjust that little sensitivity knob and you can use it to pin point wires or Screws in walls and be within 1 mm,

I have used mine for all sorts of things in the past, they are great but like I said I wish they had put it in the newer housing but apart from that they are great,

Oh and in the Battery compartment there is a switch so you can turn off the bleeping and just have it on Vibrate mode, Ok.

Good luck.

John.

Des that one is almost a dead ringer for the Whites Bulleye II, But it (whites) costs a bit more, They don't say what frequency it uses ? I wouldn't mind getting one of them for a spare,

John,

I have a 'Huntmate' and, it's not too bad at all!
While shooting a C Scope video all I had in the car on that day was the 'Huntmate' and it was actually pleasurable to just press on and find "the find" and drop it and pick it up again and press again in the search for the elusive target.
No fuss.
Just what's being asked in the Q. I guess by the poster!

Des, the more I hear the more I want One,, and I agree with the OP completely just simple on and off, Some of these pin pointer are getting too complex when there is just no need for it, And I don't hold with this trend of making pin pointers see targets at 4 to 6 inches, Because all of the 3 most expensive PP's all have faults, These cheaper models are all that is needed,

I'm glad you told us about them So thank you for the Heads up on them.

John.
