There isn't any!!! (for Makro)------Kellyco is the service center for Nokta.------TNSS, the inquiry you seen on Findmall was mine.----They never did answer it on the public Forum.----I then sent Dilek an email with the same question.-----She finally answered saying they plan on getting a service center for Makro in the U.S. in the near future.-----In the meantime----I guess anyone with a broken Makro product either wait for a "future" center---or---send it to Turkey. sad smiley--------------Del

The priority might be repairing Turkey before repairing a detector.!

Hello. Just to clarify - most of the time, we do not ask for the unit to be sent back (unless our engineers want to inspect the unit). Instead, we ask for the serial number of the device along with a short video / pictures and we send the replacement part. Hope this helps.

Who installs this replacement part (or parts) that you send?

Well,
As long as folks with Makro units know the process--- know who to call or contact for faulty units

Now,,,let's talk about this.

Units out of warranty,,,,how does the process work????

Probably aren't any units out of warranty yet in USA

Trying to remember Racer 1 release date.

I pre-ordered my original Racer before production models were shipped to
the U.S., so I think I was among the first to receive one. Mine arrived
on March 25, 2015. So I have about 2.5 months left on my two-year
warranty and I guess I'll be among the first to have no warranty.
And, yes, I'm wondering what my repair options will be at that point.

I'm hoping the Impact is available by then, by the way.

Not to take this thread too far afield, but the reading I have been doing on users with repair issues on several makers/models seems to indicate an opportunity for anyone with the right skill set.

If detector makers could/would license some people to do repairs it would be great because there appears to be a huge need!

We do not send any replacement parts on a component level but rather we send let's say the coil, the power unit, the shaft or the system box itself. Hope it is clear.

Hello all.
PLEASE DO NOT WORRY ABOUT SERVICE.
Until we have a repair center in place, we are here to assist you and will NOT let you down.

No truer words have been spoken. I've had to contact Dilek @ Makro for a couple of issues, and they went above and beyond each time to rectify the situation.

Nokta/Makro has the BEST customer service I've ever used (I've used Minelab, Garrett, and Fisher CS before).

Brian

Well i need to find service for my Makro Deephunter I get no detection in mode ! with either the T44 or T100 no indication on the screen of Ferrous or non Ferrous targets, I have a ring i have used to calibrate the unit sense i have had it. The unit can no longer see the ring and the meters "ferrous and non ferrous" fails to move with any target. I have the serial number of the system. Please advise me as to how i get this repaired.

I agree with Cal cobra. Contact Dilek at Makrodetector.com on the "contact" part of the toolbar. They are still learning the ropes of being an up and coming company. I have 2 of their Racer 2's and love them, especially in trash..
