I dont know about you but im ready for the impact

With all the talk and everything, I can't wait to just get a hold of it for myself and put it through it's paces. Thats the true test. Its finally detecting weather so I've been stir crazy for a while!

Thats what im saying! My Dad has like 8 days of detecting more than me and I want to get out there and the Impact will be my ticket to having some fun! So Kellyco, get off ur AZZ and ship em to the customers already!

Im with you, Im afraid i want get it in time to hunt a hay field that has some deep stuff in it, be a good test to see just how deep it will dig.

I'm ready too. I can't get mine until May so until then, I'm ready to live vicariously through you guys.

I hope you think it's everything that it appears to be.

Doesn't anyone have connections with Kellyco? I mean seriously!

Hello guys... the products will leave our factory this week.( I said early this week before but we are having 2-3 days delay so it looks like Thursday-Friday). I will let you know the minute they leave. I promise.
Kellyco should have them before the end of the week.

My dealer tells me that the hold up is not Kellyco but clearing customs. I'm with you guys, I can't wait to give it a go!

The impact is a nice machine lots of programs to use and for those that don't use all metal they have two programs that I think will change your thoughts on using that on deep relics..

GEN(D) and STA(D).

how is the deep program? is it the same as the one on the relic? I used it a lot. and the 12 one

Bummer on the delay, been over a month since I paid for mine and I was hoping to have it before April 14th as I'm going on a detecting trip....not looking like that's going to happen eh?

Gen and Gen (D) are the 2 all metal modes (sweep required for a target/tonal response) as they are disc based all metal modes like most machines of the last 20 yrs or more

Sta and Sta (D) are "Static/TRUE all metal NON motion" modes (all metal but no motion/sweep required to detect a target) - there's a difference (BIG difference) it will read/constant tone while hovering over a target while remaining perfectly still/with no sweep. Great for "sizing" a target and/or gauging depth, and is usually deeper than any disc mode.

The great thing about the static mode and especially Sta (D) on the Impact though is that you can set a tone break and combined with Delta Pitch (hence the "D" in Sta (D) ) is that it allows the user to hear different tones depending on the targets conductive makeup AND also detect good targets mixed in with iron... This is a unique feature/mode found only on the Impact as there is no other machine out there that can use a Static mode while allowing the user to hear different conductive metals via different tones (MUCH LESS WITH) the ability to hear separate/different tones when 2 or more conductive metal types are mixed together/co-located.

If Kellyco does like they did with the Relic preorders, you more than likely wont receive any info about it. Just one day out of the blue, you will get a package and there it is. From the time I preordered the Relic, I never received anything from Kellyco. I only had my receipt from where I paid through PayPal.

The Rutus also gives 2 motion/ non motion modes, you can set it to dual mode with a non motion all metal mode which includes full audio scale with numerical and hodo graph showing the magnetic to conductive readout, and of course still set it to any khz in the range, real cool features.

I got mine from NGR, Don. so i reckon he will be later getting his then he will send them out?

can you set it to one of the "non motion" modes only and still get a full scale of tones with # readout

or

do you have to use the "dual mode" feature in order to get the full scale of tones and # readout with one of the non motion modes engaged?

With the Impact you can use Sta (D) a static/non motion mode only (not a dual/mixed mode) and still get a full scale of tones with # readout

All metal Non motion with single tone and readout.
Dual all metal motion or non motion with disc and readout etc
All metal motion single filter.
I think that's them all lol

good news!! still don't think we will have one in hands next week, by the time kelly co sends them to dealers then dealers to us 7 to 10 days easy

You'd be quicker ordering from the UK as there on the shelves, i got an email from one retailer saying they had stock available for purchase from their first shipment.
There's not as much excitement in the UK over the Impact, the known and trusted testers either didn't take one on for testing, or there tied in with other manufacturers etc
On one site if you bid £100 less than retail they will take it!
