A Salilor walked into a detector shop and said ....I need a Metal Detector...I am sailing to the Lost City of Atlantis. I am looking for the Great lost city of gold! I need a Minelab Machine....I heard they are the Best! It needs to be Waterproof and only pick up Gold!!!...Not to heavy..Not to Noisy..And sound like a E-trac! O'yeah..It has to be Solar Powered..as my Sailing ship has no power! I am also looking for a Digger(Maybe a nice trained Labador)...that would do. Any Old Maps..you have around would do too. Have you heard of that Mascard1 Charactor...Looking for him..heard he is a Minelab Guy?

Without looking it up, what movie is this quote from:

"For a deep water sailor, I sure am landlocked."

I will give two hints.

There are no military naval vessels in the movie

and

"be happy in your work"

Thinking my hardest,..... is it from Bridge On the River Kwai.
(maybe spelling?)

Because I remember the character played by William Holden was in the Navy.
And there he was working on a bridge that would connect, by railroad, Bannock and Rangoon.

That's my best guess.

My favorite quote from that movie is when Alec Guinness is talking to the camp commander on the bridge.

This one.
Alec Guinness

I will never forget those words as long as I live.

Correct! Yes, the interaction between the two commanders on the bridge and the speech by Alec Guinness on that bridge has quite an impact(no pun intended) LOL

Oh brother...............

I was only half paying attention!

Your clue:

"be happy in your work"

A quote form the camp commander that came up more than once in the movie.

Sometimes I look, but I don't see.
