True all metal side of AT Max

TO: Keith Southern and others.

Keith with the AT Max having a true AM side and 13.6 frequency do you think it will approach the F75 in depth?

Too much speculation and negativity right now. We need to wait for the real customers to start reporting.

No Boost mode...

Factory set SAT speeds will make a difference too I'm sure from one unit to the next plus the SMOOTHNESS of the threshold for the whispers..

Too early to call that one..

Thanks Keith--can't wait until your "report".

To me it looked like in the garrett video he was in Pro Zero mode with a threshold running in the background. If that's the case that's a feature I really liked about the mxt etc. Would make a big difference hearing them feint deep ones.

It seems like there should be an owner's manual on line by now. Reading it would answer a lot of questions.

Or the Rutus Alter 71, you can select all metal + discrimination simultaniously.

I just got the Rutus Alter 71 last week and ran it this weekend in Deep Mode which is all metal + discrimination and loved it. It's something I have to get used to, but that along with the hodograph gives the user a lot of information on the detected object.
